HydroSense: Smart Dry-Run
Protection for Borewell Motors

Protect your borewell motor from running dry. HydroSense uses a non-invasive water flow sensor that clamps onto your CPVC pipe — no pipe cutting required. When water stops flowing, it automatically shuts off the motor to prevent costly damage and sends instant alerts to your phone.

The Problem

Dry-Run Damage is Expensive

When a borewell runs out of water, the motor continues spinning without the cooling effect of water flow. This causes overheating, bearing failure, and eventual motor burnout. Replacing or rewinding a borewell motor is costly and disruptive. HydroSense prevents this by detecting dry-run conditions within seconds and automatically stopping the motor.

Sensor Mounting

The XKC-Y26-V water flow sensor clamps directly onto the outside of your CPVC pipe. No drilling, cutting, or plumbing modifications needed. The sensor detects water presence through the pipe wall.

Wireless Setup

The sensor connects to the controller via cable. The controller communicates wirelessly with the Federate Cloud, enabling remote monitoring and control from anywhere.

Motor Connection

The borewell motor connects to the controller's built-in switch module. This allows HydroSense to automatically start and stop the motor based on water flow status.
